Our paper winding devices are specifically designed to optimize your production processes by enabling the reliable winding and unwinding of paper reels. Whether inserting or removing paper layers between the inner wraps of sensitive metal coils, our paper winders provide the ideal solution to safely and gently protect your products with paper interleaves.

As standard, our paper winders are equipped with a robust pneumatic expanding shaft, available in customer-specific diameters. The expanding shaft can be expanded pneumatically, electromotively or manually according to customer requirements.

For the processing of wide paper qualities, we also offer optional quick-change bearings that accelerate the setup process and reduce production downtime.

The paper winders from hpl-Neugnadenfelder Maschinenfabrik GmbH are equipped with high-precision mechanical components to handle even the most delicate winding materials with accuracy and to ensure a smooth paper feed throughout the process. The integrated paper break detection system, connected to the control unit, ensures immediate action if a break occurs, preventing damage to the material.

Thanks to the finely tuned drive technology – with servo motors or a tension control unit – consistent paper tension is ensured throughout the entire winding process. Throughout the entire process, the paper is wound tightly and evenly to provide reliable protection of the coil surfaces.
