These include weighing to record net and gross weights, coil strapping, labelling and marking systems – for example with QR codes – as well as film stretchers to protect the material.

All modules are not considered in isolation, but designed as part of a coordinated overall process. In this way the individual steps interlock and create a stable basis for downstream handling.

Gentle handling and safe provision

After packaging, the coils or coil packages are stacked gently and provided in the correct orientation for the subsequent processes.

Depending on the application, mechanical grippers or – where permissible – magnetic systems are used. To protect sensitive surfaces additionally, interlayers of wood or paper can be integrated.

Transfer to downstream logistics systems is also considered from the outset: individual transport pallets can be integrated just as easily as a connection to forklifts or automated guided vehicles. The process therefore does not end with packaging – it leads directly into a smooth material flow.
